Cleaning out a Basement - Leads to cleaning other Rooms

Today I couldn't take the mess in my basement any longer. I have had some long overdue cleaning to do in that area. I managed to pull out everything that I wanted to sell, donate, and trash now. I pretty much have everything organized again, but unfortunately - all the stuff I wanted to get rid of is sitting right smack dab in the middle of craft/family room. Hmmmm. If only I had genie!

You know you are a mom that likes to scrap when....

Yesterday my poor 7 year old came home from school sick with the stomach flu. Poor thing was in such pain. I couldn't believe it. She even vomited in the school yard. We made it home where she promptly went to our large living room chair, snuggled up in a blanket, and got the trash can to be prepared for the next episode of nausea. She asked me to turn on her favorite TV show and as I was searching for it, I looked over and she had already fallen asleep..... w/ her head hanging inside the trashcan.

Now I ask you what would the normal mom do. She would take the child's head out of the trash can and make her more comfortable right?? Not me... I took a picture first. Several actually. You never know what picture will look best on the page :D

My name is Monica Dease. I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls and the wife of a wonderful husband. We live in Ontario, Canada. I am originally from West Virginia, but my husband years ago who is from Canada. My best friend here in Canada started calling me a redneck (inside joke between me and her) many years ago, so it seemed appropriate to call my site the redneckscrapper.

I sale Close to My Heart and run two hostess clubs at the moment, along with hosting some crops with my friends every now and then at our local church. I am not as talented as some, but I definitely love to scrap.
